Streamed Performance of Handel's Messiah

Due to the unforeseen circumstances surrounding Covid-19, the New Presbyterian Church of Wilton Manors is unable to give their annual presentation of Handel's Messiah this year. Instead, they have provided a streamed performance of last year’s performance of this magnificent piece. Handel's Messiah with the New Presbyterian Church Concert Choir and orchestra December 2019. Conducted by Michael Irvin, Director of Music and Co-conductor John Moore. Soloists: Kyaunnee Richardson, Soprano Shanna Nolan-Gundry, Mezzo-soprano Gerard Ortega, Tenor Neil Nelson, Bass-baritone.

Opera Orlando 2020-2021 Season

Kyaunnee Richardson is thrilled to be joining Opera Orlando 2020-2021 season as a Studio Artist. She will be making her debut as Gretel in Humperdink’s Hansel and Gretel, Fresquita in Bizet’s Carmen and Calpurnia in the newly commissioned opera by Stella Sung The Secret River.

"World's Longest Cadenza" gets Kyaunnee social media notice by Andrew Lloyd Webber During Covid closures

While singers and other artists around the world wait for live performance opportunities to resume, legendary musical theater composer Andrew Lloyd Webber launched a virtual cadenza challenged based around his “Phantom of the Opera” character Christine Daaé’s “Think of Me.” Joining his judging panel were London’s BAFTA-Award winning comedian Graham Norton and former Christine Daaé (Las Vegas, Broadway and Live! Royal Albert Hall 25th Anniversary) Sierra Boggess. Out of 1,500 online video submissions, Kyaunnee was featured as one for he honorable mentions, being dubbed by Sir Webber with having sung the “World’s Longest Cadenza.”
