Opera Orlando 2022 Summer Concert Series

Soprano Kyaunnee Richardson returns to Opera Orlando with an exciting line-up of arias and show tunes guaranteed to thrill and delight the summer concert crowd. In collaboration with pianist Chevalier Lovett, the two will present a sparkling program showcasing Ms. Richardson’s effervescent stage presence and shimmering vocals. From being a 2020-21 Opera Orlando studio artist and premiering the role of Calpurnia in The Secret River to another premiere in Why I Live at the PO with UrbanArias and singing Despina in Opera in Williamsburg’s Così fan tutte, Ms. Richardson has quickly become an in-demand soprano, thanks in part to eh love and support of her Opera Orlando family. This concert promises to be a beautiful homecoming for the rising star, and a wonderful afternoon of stunning music for Opera Orlando audiences.

Handel's Messiah

For their 2019-2020 season, Ms. Richardson will be singing the Soprano Solo in Handel's Messiah with New Presbyterian Church Concert Series. She is excited to be singing one of the most famous world renown oratorio works with the well-known "Hallelujah Chorus" under the baton of Music Director, Michael Irvin and Johnathan Moore. Kyaunnee Richardson Featured in Sunrise Symphonic Concert

Kyaunnee Richardson was last seen with the Sunrise Symphonic in 2009 and 2012. She is delighted to be returning to make her solo debut on their pop series with songs by Verdi, Gounod, Sullivan along with some Broadway medleys.

The Sunrise Pops has given music lovers the opportunity to experience an outstanding array of live musical performances. A variety of outstanding guest artists appear with the orchestra during the second half of each show. Special Guest Artist with the South Florida Symphony

On November 14 and 16, Ms. Richardson will be making a special guest appearance with the South Florida Symphony Pops Series I: The Great American Songbook Concert for their 20th season.

Music historians consider The Great American Songbook along with jazz to be the most important contributions made to American music in the 20th Century. The SFSO continues the series with classic beloved songs from songwriters like Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George and Ira Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen and many others.

Handel's Messiah with the Civic Chorale of Greater Miami

For their 2017-2018 season, Ms. Richardson returns with the Civic Chorale of Greater Miami and the Alhambra Orchestra as the Soprano Soloist in Handel's Messiah. Ms. Richardson last performed Messiah with the Civic Chorale in December 2015. She is delighted to be singing one of the most famous world renown oratorio works with the well-known "Hallelujah Chorus". This season marks the final pre-retirement year for Artistic Director, Dr. Ken Boos. The performance will be on December 10 at 4pm. Visit Civic Chorale of Greater Miami's website for more details.
